DIY Calcium reactor - Aquarium Advice

A Coworker sent me this. I figured it would be easier than dosing

it seems in that design the [acronym:88c7324245="Carbon dioxide"]CO2[/acronym:88c7324245] is going to the main tank..

you want to inject the [acronym:88c7324245="Carbon dioxide"]CO2[/acronym:88c7324245] into the Recirc. pumps loop.. the amount of [acronym:88c7324245="Carbon dioxide"]CO2[/acronym:88c7324245] is normaly regulated by the [acronym:88c7324245="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]PH[/acronym:88c7324245] of the loop's effluent (liquid) I cant remember the exact nuber but its around 7.?..

this approch is used alot for [acronym:88c7324245="Small Polyped Stoney"]SPS[/acronym:88c7324245] tanks (large ones in particular).. neilson reactors are more simple so some take that route..
