Talking diy co2 question

Will a 2 liter yeast setup be enough for a 18gal? Also how can i avoid the buildup on the wood airstone?

It should be good for your 18 gallon aquarium. I have never ran into problem with build up on the air stone.

Just turn air pump off during lighting time right? Also I have a single 15 watt t-8 bulb and looking to upgrade on the cheap side, but not looking to build my own setup. Anyone have sugg? THX ALL
