Yea well I probably would do two. I don't have a heavily planted tank, I have like 10 plants but I just wanna see what it would do for them. That's another reason why I want to go the less expensive DIY route haha. So given everything you've told me, I feel confident about it thank you!

Oh I forgot to ask, do you have it in at night too? Because when its dark, the plants aren't using co2..

There's really no way to turn it off so you kind of have to run it at night.

A few things you could do at night is 1 turn on an airpump at night that should release alot of the co2 that would build up. 2 place an air control valve between the tank and bottle and just take it off the line and let the gas go into the air fairly simple solution. The air control valve my degrade over time but they are fairly cheap.

right? i have read and seen a lot of videos and threads and this is the first time I understand it because of how the guy explains it very clearly.
