DIY CO2 System
Does anyone have a [acronym:c863976e91="Do it yourself"]DIY[/acronym:c863976e91] [acronym:c863976e91="Carbon dioxide"]CO2[/acronym:c863976e91] system that is not too big or not too small for a ten gallon tank?

See [acronym:8d604ad3d7="Carbon dioxide"]CO2[/acronym:8d604ad3d7] sticky in this forum for good links -- standard 2L works but 20oz bottle (closer to Hagen Nutrafin) does too. Could use a powerhead based diffuser with short tube, or small bell type, or maybe use your filter.

could also pump the [acronym:9af5d12680="Do it yourself"]DIY[/acronym:9af5d12680] [acronym:9af5d12680="Carbon dioxide"]CO2[/acronym:9af5d12680] right into your [acronym:9af5d12680="Hang On Back"]HOB[/acronym:9af5d12680] filter intake, but use an airline reducer so you get smaller bubbles that'll break up easier in the filter impeller.
AquaClear filters can handle this...any other decent brand should too, but I wouldn't try it with a Whisper.

I have the plan for the [acronym:21b05f6ad8="Carbon dioxide"]CO2[/acronym:21b05f6ad8] system and I want to use a powerhead diffuser. How would I do this?

powerhead diffuser? if your talking about putting the co2 into the vinturi intake that would not be a efficent design.. there is a design for a powerhead powered reactor with the [acronym:0985511948="Do it yourself"]DIY[/acronym:0985511948] [acronym:0985511948="Carbon dioxide"]CO2[/acronym:0985511948] link that I give out?
