DIY Driftwood

I've done plenty of small driftwood DIYs but there is a fairly large piece that we want to use but it won't fit in the oven, grill or in a pot... Should we forget about it or is there another way to disinfect it?

If you can fit it in The dishwasher, run it without detergent.

It wouldn't have fit in the dishwasher either... It's too late though because it was too tall for the tank anyways. Thanks though!
