DIY HOB Fuge up and Running
I've been wanting one of the [acronym:5a210eaa7f="Hang On Back"]HOB[/acronym:5a210eaa7f] fuges for my 90 gallon tank but couldn't see past the large price tags. So for a fraction of the cost, my husband built one, I ordered 2 small powerheads and some chaeto. A light unit from an old 10 gallon tank fits perfectly . One powerhead bring water in and the other is in the fuge providing circulation. Some live sand and rock rubble added and the chaeto is rolling in the current. Can't wait to see its progress.
I'm considering some of the Miricle Mud, but was wondering if anyone has used it and if so, do you think that it is worthwhile? |
