DIY individual t5 reflectors

Im pretty new to modding aquarium things but from the look of it I would think that taking some of the florescent sheathing sold at a homedepot (or anywhere that sells lighting)with a slightly lager inner diameter than the bulb, cut to length and cut down the length so you have a semicircular piece..lined with even just aluminum foil would work.
 
at HD or Lowes, in the roofing section you will see aluminum flashing. It comes in rolls, but also in pre-shaped sections. it is very cheap and easy to mold into any shape you want. It is highly reflective.

Use a length of 1.5" PVC to mold the flashing into a semi-circle.

Great suggestion! The spacing between the bulbs is pretty tight. I may try this in a dual T5 fixture that currently has a single reflector
 
Yes, it is a great suggestion! Thank you. We'll have to see if there's enough room to fit this into the light fixture.
