I planning on making a DIY light for my ten gallon using a piece of plastic gutter and 2 or 3 of the screw in led lights. Has anyone used the screw in led's are they very bright was wanting to make this a heavily planted tank?

I'm going to venture a guess and say that the output on the screw in LEDs are not going to support any high light plants but I have seen them support lower light plants. Which bulbs did you have in mind?

I just seen some at lowes and thought they might put out alot of light. I kinda want to do high light, DIY co2, low cost planted ten gallon for a dwarf puffer.
