Lots of diff live foods out there you can raise for your fishies. Vinegar eels, microworms, all sorts of squirmy goodies.

Some nice places to start here:

Understand I do not feed my guys live anything. I'm too squeamish [acronym:f2bb41277a="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:f2bb41277a]

You can feed them earthworms (cut up if you have small fish) that you can probably find in your backyard.

Careful with the earthworms, as they can have parasites but more importantly chemicals from the yard. I have propagated my own earthworms in a shallow box with a fine screen lid. My fish absolutely adore earthworms, and take pices of them away in private to be eaten, like a dog with a bone!

What kinda fish do you have?
I use whiteworms, grindal worms and micorworms. And sometimes mosquito larva.
