DIY stand

Is a 3 foot tall stand to tall? the stand will be 4ft L x 13" W x 3ft H. Is this stand going to be to top heavy for a 55 gallon tank. The tank will be on a concrete floor.

Should be okay as long as it is level. I am looking at making a 36" tall stand too. If you are worried about it, secure it to a wall.

I never thought of securing it to the wall. I have some brackets laying around the house that I could use

My 55 stand is 32" tall and I have no problems so 3 ft should be fine

nice tank and stand jessicasmarine. The reason I want a 3 foot stand is because I am 6 feet tall and I don't want to have to bend over to look at my tank everytime. I just wanted to get everyones opinion so I don't end up with 55 gallons of water on the floor.
