I've included some pix of the DIY stand for the 40 long. There's room in the bottom to put in the 18 tall which we're going to use as a DIY sump.

The 2x4's are redwood. Fir plywood is used for the sides.
The bottom molding is standard 2" rounded top molding. The top framing is fir (3" wide)

The dimensions for the framing is:
top & bottom framing:
2x4's cut to 37 3/8" and 16 1/2" (mitered to 45 degrees, screwed & glued together).
The legs/corners for the framing at 2x4's cut to 27".
The two rear supports are 2x2 (also cut to 27").
The front two & side supports are also 2x4's cut to 27".

The stain/fish we're using is Minwax Polyshades, Honey Pine.
