I have 2 Oscars(12 inch and 8 inch)in a 80 gallon acrilic. large api canister filter and a whisper 40-60 just for added biological filtration. we all know they are huge pigs and they are waste factories I'm constantly cleaning the tank and filter pads lately I've noticed a oily skin almost on the surface of the water in spots and bits of food around the top of the tank...skimmers I've seen are either way to expensive or connect with your filtration system causing both to be inefficient.. so a little bit of looking on the internet I found this https://youtu.be/WlM3Dbgf10I its amazing!!!
