diy wet/dry sump

I have a 30g long tank I setup up as a sump for my 90g reef, baffled it off, had intake/skimmer section, fuge and return sections, basic design.

I am converting that 90g and sump to a freshwater planted/invert tank. I would like to redesign the 30g sump as a wet dry, anyone have any plans on how something like this should go? I have never used or owned a wet dry system, I know how they work but would like some basic plans on setting up my sump as wet dry. its a 36" long 12" wide tank. (16" tall I believe)

thanks all!

The best way would be to have a wet/dry column sit on top of the existing system, that way you keep the same reserve level to buffer against evaporation loss. Otherwise, drill holes in the bottoms of all the baffles, fill up the chambers with biomedia, and add a trickle plate (large plate with lots of holes to spread incomming water over biomedia.)
