I made A diagram of the tank I am going to Build do you think it will work?
Oh almost for got my ? Do you think it would hurt to silicone a 1/4 inch strip of glass under the bottom pane and silicone the bottom pane to it?

I havenever done glass, but 1/4 seems thin for 72" length. *shrugs*

I think 1/4" thickness would be fine with the bracing you have planned. I would not recommend puting bracing on the bottom though. You want your bottom pane to sit as perfectly flush as possible. Too much variation in the weight distribution on the bottom pane and it will fail.
