I am in the process of making a refugium for my 29g. I know how i want to set up the fuge but i am having problems figuring out how to make the overflow. At first i wanted to use a siphon but i would rather use an overflow becaue of the possibility of overflowing the fuge if the power goes out. Is it possible to drill a tank while it is set up? I would rather not use a siphon but if i have to i will.
If i did it i would drain some of the water and use a shopvac or something to make sure no glass shards got into the tank. It just seems like a bad idea. Just seeing if anyone else had tried this. Thanks.
