DYI Co2

What are the ingredients for DYI Co2? Also, what size bottle and mixture should I use for my 24 and 29 gallon tanks?

This would be a good post to get ideas from, and there are many many more topics on just this subject if you do a forum search.

I used a pair of 2 liter bottles for my 29 gallon tank with some success, but then I went pressurized and haven't felt better!

You'd probably have better results with 2x one gallon containers. I went with 1x one gallon on my 10gal tank to get it consitent and high.

I went through a bit of a harsh learning curve when it comes to DIY CO2. ;-( I wrote about it here... I did come up with a pretty good formula though.

I'm a fan of two DIY jugs, and for a 29gal, I'd go with at least two 2 liter jugs, started on two different weeks, for the best, most consistent DIY output.
