fans and vents for lighting
Hello all,
I am building a small canopy to put my new lights on and would like to include some small fans. Question is,Do I put the fans blowing in or out or one each way? Also should I put some small vents in to? 60 gallon hex tank and don't want to go over board on making a big a$$ canopy, also that would be a whole lot of angels to cut. Thanks for all your help Stever |

I would have them both blowing IN. The reason is that the air inside the tank will be more humid than the air outside. Having a fan pull humid air thru it could increase its chance for failure.
Having the back open for equipment will allow the air that your pushing into the hood to excape. If you want ot put some vents on top thats good also as hot air will natually rise to the top of the canopy.
