Well goofed up there lol. I had a long post and edited it but lost all the info so here it goes again lol Any suggestions? Do you think my power head will be ok like this? I put the co2 out into the air inlet on my 550 power head and inside the reactor I put in three pop cap to bounce around and help dissapate the bubbles

Looks very good to me! I have a very similar reactor, but made it out of a gravel cleaner and let the CO2 run through an airstone first.

Yours should work as good as mine. I just regret now, that I didn't get the idea with the regular bottle and bought a gravel cleaner instead !

Is that a sponge or something in the bottom of the bottle?

yup just a small sponge I have since removed it, it works better without it my plants are loving it

Yeah - I used to use a sponge and was quite amazed at how much back pressure on the system it created. Great idea with the water bottle.

Thank you and ya the back pressure is killer I only loose a few bubbles this way but they are almost small enough to not even see
