First power outage with new diy overflows and sumps.
Well we've been getting a lot of rain here in central Texas and we had our first power outage a couple of days ago. Of course we were at work and were not here to observe it. We recently built and installed a [acronym:5bdbe77e8e="Do it yourself"]diy[/acronym:5bdbe77e8e] overflow and sump/refugium on our two 90 gallon tanks. Apparently careful planning and multiple testing does pay off. They were going when we got home and we wouldn't have even known except the computer and clocks had all reset. Whew! So glad they worked, it could have been a couple hundred gallons of disaster.
