Floating moss balls

Hey all! you may or may not have seen these in the stores. I thought they were really cool and the wife loves them so thought I would share. An easy DIY.

The moss just came in so it needs to green up.

So get some moss. I used Christmas moss that we got off eBay for like 2 bucks.

Some fishing line. The thinner the better and a few styrofoam balls of whatever size you choose from a craft store.

Just tie the fish string around the foam ball. Then cover with moss and wrap the fishing line over and over the moss to secure it. Tie one final knot Around the moss ball so that the string will not unravel. Then just cut the line at whatever length you want the moss ball to suspend in your tank!

For the anchor I used

Tie the fish line to it and stick it in the substrate. Your done!

I did a couple at different heights!

Super easy and better then just laying then on the gravel. Enjoy!!!!
