Yeah just with the current light it gets dark at the sides and the front doesn't seem to get enough light. Only the back in the middle of the tank gets adequate enough light .

That light I showed will fix that and its cheap and pretty good quality

Only thing I could think of was to DIY mount some car led strip in the area you open to feed the fish.

Is this the sort of lighting you use in your bow front? If so does the light cover the entire surface area pretty evenly?
