Okay I see which top you have. Yeah with the glass top and that light I showed, you may hit around 120$ but the look will be amazing and BTW very nice tank

Yeah just with the current light it gets dark at the sides and the front doesn't seem to get enough light. Only the back in the middle of the tank gets adequate enough light .

Yes it gives your tank a very clean look

Only thing I could think of was to DIY mount some car led strip in the area you open to feed the fish.

Yes but if you get that light, you will see its plenty

I don't have a bowfront anymore but no I don't use them. I just stick with my stock lighting unless I wanna plant a tank then I go the cheap route with screw in cfl bulbs from lowest or home depot with clip on lights.

No its just a low tech tank

Ah. I seen a picture of an award winning Japanese tank once it was zen something or other. But it just looked like it had tiny grass everywhere. Very simplistic looking. I wish I had saved the picture because I would have loved to have stolen the idea for a second tank...
