help with hood

i have an elite style 60 tank and i use two breeder boxs externally and i have to balance the hood, would i be better modifying the hood or building a new one ?

thanks for replying but i have done it now the breeder box i use is a marina hang on and i cut a slot in the side of the hood to fit it, i also have the marina 3 in 1 but i have trouble with it the bottom plate that has the small holes to stop the fry from escaping lifts up and the fry get loose is there a way i can fix this, i just put a net in it temp but want a permanent fix !
