I have modified my filter slightly to add lr to it. I just put a couple screens in it to enclose the media section of the filter. I used silicone to seal the screens on the filter.

On the silicone tube it says it cures in 5 minutes, fully bonds in 24hrs, and has water proof seal in 48 hrs. It is All-Glass Aquarium 100% silicone.

I was wondering when it would be ok to put back on the tank. It has been out of the water curing for 13 hrs now. Should I just wait 24 hrs for it to bond? or can I put it in now?

I believe I would follow directions and wait the 48 hours. Wouldnt want to have to do the job twice.
