Is this too Risky?
Hi,
I just got a 90 [acronym:35f7491414="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:35f7491414] tank and I already have 29 [acronym:35f7491414="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:35f7491414] community tank set up...I've looked at the plans posted on this site and i was wondering if adjusted the plans to make one of the stands able to display the 90 on top and instead of enclosing the bottom keep it open to display the 29 [acronym:35f7491414="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:35f7491414] below it...Has anyone tried this or do you have plans for a stand like this? |

So your talking about having one stand for both tanks. The 90 at one height and the 29 below it. That does not sound risky to me at all.

Yeah, I definitely think it can be done. When the [acronym:56543d7c03="Saltwater"]SW[/acronym:56543d7c03] people build a stand they include a long middle cabinet for a sump. If you don't put doors on the stand where the sump is supposed to be then that would easily become an area for the 29 gallon.
