lots of duct tape.

just plant little bits of it relatively close to each other, and trim often

If I do make a carpet plant ( with duct tape) how do you clean the tank

A trick I've seen done is to grow it on stones first then put the covered stones in places to kick off the carpet. I you were to have a carpet you wouldn't be able I clean that section, but the plants would also stop mulm from going below the surface. Also the plants would use the mulm as food so just a quick gravel vac over the top would suffice to stir up and grab the stuff collected ontop of the moss.

Hi i used a large flat piece of bogwood and a fine mesh to create a lawn effect. Iv put the bog wood at an agle across the tank, but if i laid it flat and buried it a little it would look like a lawn. Hope that helps and heres some pics : )
