Lobster tank project

Hi im new to this forum and joined to maybe got some info..

I recently came across a lobster tank from a friend that owned a seafood restaurant for very cheap. its a 110 all inclusive (drilled holes pumps and chiller underneath). Now im a huge cichlids fan and want to make it a peacock tank. has anyone ever heard of turning a commercial lobster tank into a fresh water set up?
my main concern is the bottom its a cheap fiberglass mesh? that wont hold much weight at all and I would like to keep the overflow for cleanliness..

any fingers pointing to a post of someone that has maybe done this before or any input really would be great

If cleaned well I won't be an issue. The bottom will be able to hold most anything - it holds all the weight and pressure of the water. The only thing is the pumps and converting them bc of the salt
