MH lighting question
Can I use a lower wattage MH bulb in a 1000 Watt ballast? I had a 1000 watt MH system given to me and it is too much for my 30 gallon tank.

My guess.... Definitely not.. you will end up destroying your lower wattage bulb.

bulb needs to be matched with the ballast.
