My $10 30 led DIY night light
Here's a little DIY i did on my tank, i will include some pics later. I took a string of outdoor LED christmas lights in blue, and then took an old 30w flourescent fitting removed the bulb and drilled 30 holes in the plastic. I fed the LED Xmas lights individually through the holes and then screwed the fitting into my canopy. The light looks great at night, and my mushroom corals glow bright green and stay open, the BTA seems to like it too and glows a little as well. The fish seem to be used to it. Pretty good modification for $10.
