This is my new design for a 30G AGA sump with a downstream fuge. It will be replacing my current 30G AGA with a ecosystem 100 reefugium. This new fuge will be 18 gallons, a large upgrade from the 3 gallon ecosystem. It will be used for nutrient export as well as a zooplaynkton breeder. A 65W bulb will grow the cheto. The small partition on the right hand side is for the MAG9.5 return pump. The pump sits on a bed of filter pads to reduce noise and serve a place close to the outflow for pods to breed. The overflow area has a small stand that will accomodate my EV-120 and heaters. I am using 30lbs of oolitic aragonite and seeding the fuge with the ebay det. kit. Inside the fuge area will be a float switch that runs my auto-topoff and kalk system.
