Insides of the "box", which I think is supposed to be a overflow?

small holes in the bottom of the "box", which runs from top to bottom, hole are at the bottom of the tank.

seems an odd place for a return line to enter? or is it for something else?

basic questions on this setup, any easy way to remove paint from acrylic? for whatever reason he painted the inside, didn't seem to have an issue with it killing his fish, but would rather have the paint on the outside.

seam leaks and he did a poor job of smearing the outside with silicon, most of which simply pulled off already, will probably tear apart and clean all seams and put back together in a few months. Any easy way to clean acrylic that won't scratch or dull it?

And one more for now, ideas on lights? this thing is way deeper than my other 125 (apx 3 feet deep)

ok so its 56 inches long, 28 inches tall and the middle is 22 inch front to back, while the sides are 18 inches..

ok so after digging out all his hack job of trying to reseal it I come to the conclusion its beyond me to repair, not only is the seam shot, but he managed to break the acrylic doing so (it has a 6 inch long split in it):banghead: so I'm just going to slice off about 6 inches from the bottom of it and put in a slice of plywood and seal that up, I did after all buy this for the GF's Bearded dragon ;)
