I am very interested in creating a semi moonlight using LEDs like only 4 or so on a 100 G set up I am building. My oscars aren't bitter creatures, actually they are very tame, and hey are absolutely inseperable, they swim touching eachother, they eat holding hands.. its insane. But since I am building this new set up (they are both 4-5 inch oscars, one red the other a tiger, and they pesently have a home in a 45 gallon) I figure they would like to have their own nightlight, considering they will have a new roomate, a 7 inch pleco roaming around at night which may accidently run into the pair and spook them... what do you all think? The regular lighting is a dimmed flourecent, I know Oscars don't like bright lights, so thats why I haven't bothered with super lights, considering they like to trash plants from what I gather. What and how exactly can this be done or should be done? Thanks!
