is the framing for that tank stand 2x2? I think my 2x4 stand for my 55 was overkill..

Yeah this one I used 2x2s, on the big multitank stand I used 2x4s. Over building isn't a bad thing, at least you can be sure it won't collapse. I've got a 75g on this stand fully loaded and am having no problems.
