Hi everyone
What are someway of increase O2 exchange for the aquarium water beside using

1) Bio-Wheel
2) Wet/Dry filter
3) Sump/Overflow system?

Thanks

Also, does anyone ever able to put a heater in the Emperor 280 or 400 models?

you want the heater in the aquarium, not the Emperor.. I'd be afraid of the heat of direct contact melting the thing.

and for your first question, how big is your tank? Bubblewands and other bubble-run items will increase surface aggitation, which will in turn increase the exchange rate.

Also power heads churning the surface will encourage a greater gas exchange.

Basicly, Surface Aggitation = Greater O2 exchange.

Billy,
I'm trying to set up a 15gals high SW tank and been looking over thing for the last couple days, was considering a sump but it probably take up all space with the overflow inside the tank so HOB filter and Canister are my choices now; want my fishies be happy as they can once they arrive in my tank :)
Thanks

Thanks, one last question tho? Is the 400 Emperor too powerful for a 15gals tank? Since the price between the 280 and 400 aren't differ, I'll like some thing can be use for future expande! Not counting the extra bio-wheel on the 400!
