Nice job mate. Looks great. With the airstone and sand in there, you should seriously consider getting an intake filter sponge. It will prevent sand from getting inside your filter. Sand and impellas don't mix very well!!!

I've heard that cause every day I have to clean the cartridge.

They should be readily available in your stores over there or can be got online easily too. Quite cheap and could/will save your filter.....
