protein skimmer mo
i have an aqualine protein skimmer and it is rated up to 150gal. it is powered by a rio 1700 ph. i have a mag 7 pump i want to use.
can i use the mag 7 instead of the rio 1700? if so, how do i go about using it (installing it?) i tried awhile back but the water overflowed from the skimmer. thank you for the help guys. |

if the pump caused it to overflow last time you hooked it up then you could try using a valve between the pump and the skimmer. Just note that this back-preasure could shorten the life of the pump.
