Pvc caves and tunnels

I'm starting a 30 gallon tank soon. Would it be a good choice to throw in some PVC caves and tunnels? I'm getting the tahiti black live sand so could I glue that and mix of the normal live sand together for a nice mixture?

I'm also adding at least 20 pounds of lr and gonna try to add some coral eventually.

It's good for FW I'm sure it'd be good for SW fish as well! They look good and do the job. Here's a site I found with good directions. I've done this for my pictus and turns out real nice. Better than store bought.
