Im thinking about using a sump for my aquarium. Its only 29 gallons freshwater planted but I already have many of the parts (pvc, sponge, pump, etc..) from a failed attempt at making a canister filter (couldn't find big enough pvc for the body at a cheap price) and id really like to be able use what I got.
I have a spare 5 gallon and 10 gallon aquarium. The 5 fits under the stand easy, and the 10 would fit if I take a shelf out. I was just wondering if anyone could help me with this. The pump is 320 gph and the pvc is .5 inchs schedule 40 pipe. I was thinking of a design somewhat like this one (the picture). Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
