PVC Pipe Aquarium

My grandpa's a retired plumber who owned his own business

I have a bunch of PVC pipe and some old glass windows. Could I potentially glue the PVC together for the sides, use wood on the bottom, and glass for the front to make an aquarium? If you don't think the PVC would hold by itself, what if I put smaller PVC pipes in larger ones?

Thinking about a smallish aquarium. 30 gal maybe?

I have actually seen something like that, and it was really cool. The website is Another 12 of the Coolest Aquariums - Oddee.com and it shows 12 really cool aquariums, though the first one is so tiny its cruel! Anyways, its number nine on the list. It seems like what you are describing.

You could but glass windows generally aren't thick enough to hold the weight of water.
