Questions on scrubbers

Is there anyone here that uses a algae scrubber for filtration? Could you be kind enough to pass along some information about this system. Doe's it really work all that well? What to watch out for. What do algae eaters eat if very little is left in the tank? A good site with info perhaps. Anything will help.

Do you mean those thin as **** little green things you push across the tank picking up algae? If so, no, not a good idea. I would use a sponge from your lfs instead.

There are many articles on the Internet about the various types of algae scrubbers......I personally believe that good tank maintenance will solve algae problems.
