Refugium

I just got a 10 gallon tank setup for free

I am now considering doing my own refugium to replace my sump tank.

just wanted to make sure i have the right understanding of this.

basically, i need to divide the 10 gallon tank into 3 equal spaces.

water from my tank drops into 1 extreme of the refugium, then overflows into the center which is where i place a few rocks with sand, and then my water from there will overflow into the pump area which pushes water back into the tank.

That's basically it. Check out Melevsreef.com | Acrylic Sumps & Refugiums.

I'm a big fan of pictures.
