IMO, no need for the first bubble trap after the skimmer. Most of those bubbles will be gone after passing through the fuge section, those that done will be taken care of in the last bubble trap prior to the return. Just wasted space.
Also, unless you are keeping the water level over the last baffle on the bubble trap, you will create additional bubbles as it falls into the return. I've gotten rid of that part of the trap myself.
