very nice! Now I'm jealous!!!!

Good work!
Marlin: Okay, a mollusk walks up to this sea cucumber, well he doesn't actually walk, he's just there, and he turns to the sea cucumber, and... Well, wait, there's a mollusk and a sea cucumber and...
Chum: You know for a clown fish, he's not that funny.

Thanks for the compliments. It was fun making it.

Unfortunately, I can't really post any plans .... I started out with an outline of what to do, & pretty much design the joinery, etc. on the fly ... even the dimensions of the pieces are adjusted on the fly to fit the pieces of wood I have (I was using rough s2s lumber to save cost, & they are all different sizes.) If any one REALLY wants the details, let me know & I'll elaborate.

Material list, I can give a rough idea - as a lot of this is made with stuff I have on hand:

Internal Frame:
2x lumber dressed to 1.25" x 2.75" (actual dimensions in all that follows)
4 rails (long) at 48.25"
4 end-rails (short ends) at 20"
4 legs at 30"
2 vertical "braces"/shelf support at 28"
4 cross braces at 18"
2 auxillary legs (hidden) approx 4"
final dimension of internal frame 48.25" long, 20" deep & 30" tall

Outter frame:
5/4 s2s lumber dressed to 1" thick
6 leg pieces (front ones are in L configuration = 2 pieces):
all 32", 4 at 4" width, 2 at 3"
2 long rails 3"x44" (approx length - cut to fit)
4 short rails 3"x14"
Vertical piece (call a stile?) 2"x23"
Top caps - one 2"x50", two 2"x24"

1/4" plywood side panels - two 14"x25"
3/4" plywood bottom panel (I glued the 1/4" to a piece of 1/2" I have) - 20"x48"

Doors: list for one door, you need 3 of this - final dimension 13.25"x23" - make slightly oversized & trim to fit opening (with 1/16" all around)
2 stilles - 2"x23"
2 rails - 2"x9.25"
solid panel - 10"x20"
floating tenons to join stilles & rails (made from scraps)
2 hinges & 1 knob

shelves: 3/4" plywood with solid wood edging 15"x18"
shelve support "thingies" - 4 per shelf

Glue - Lepage cabinet maker's - lots of it!
Biscuits - about 30 - mostly for alignment - don't need it for strength in this type of construction
screws - only used for the subframe (all hidden) - about 30
Finish - 2 coats of Minwax "Puritan Pine", 2 coat of ultrafast drying poly

Total cost:
New material - $100
Stuff I already have - $100-200
Machines & tools to work all this - $1000
Finishing the project - PRICELESS.
