Silicone II problem

Ok so I have something that I want to put into my aquarium but it has Silicone II on it. My question is if I cover the Silicone II with Silicone I, will it be safe?

silicone II has the mildew additive and I'm not sure covering it up is a good idea. What is it that you want to put in the AQ?

Could you just remove the Silicone II? I wouldn't risk covering it up, if the silicone I cracks the silicone II will be exposed to the water column.
