silicone reef

Hi
I have not even set up a tank yet, but I bought a silicone reef.
I like it but it is too stark, the base I mean.
I would like to soften the colour of the base somewhat, make it brown or beige with some white on it, perhaps, and a few dabs of other colours as well.
I have a DVD of "Coral Sea Dreaming" and the reefs are less dark with more white and other colours
Does anyone know of a paint that can be purchased in small amounts that is safe for fishes?

Welcome dodig!

I'm not sure what you mean by silicon reef. Is this something you put in the tank as decoration or are you refering to the tank itself?

(also, I think this will do better in the DIY section as there is a lot more painting going on there . I'll move it over there for you.)
