have you seen anything like this?
and these airstones make full sized BIG skimmers worthwhile even with needlewheel pumps being available now.. :P
there are some smaller stones in there if you look close..
I would upsize the parts on the skimmer in the fist link to one size bigger.. make sure to get a VERY good airpump and order a little airstone from the second link.. If I wanted a killer DIY
skimmer for the job....
if I was to price a prefab for the job.. Id look at the CSS 65's price (it would be good for a tank about 30gallons so it would be a bit bigger then needed but I wouldnt want to spend more then that on a DIY
job if you know what I mean)
ok.. those are 90 bucks.... you should be able to tackle this for much less if your so inclined.. :P
