I have had a lot of success feeding DIY CO2 into my canister filter, just feeding the tubing into the intake tube. Doubled my ppm this way compared to ladder diffuser method.

I like to watch them, too. I even kept my bubble ladder when I switched from the Hagen to a CO2 injector.

FWIW, my husband ordered my Milwaukie regulator from www.aquatic-store.com too. Their price seems unbeatable.

Getting back into the hobby... restocking a 55 Gallon tank with peacock cichlids (currently housing 2 synodontis petricolas). Planning a complete overhaul of my 30 Gallon Oceanic Cube (currently housing a bristlenose pleco and a praecox rainbow).
