I just want to have 2 set up and my wife is having a fit...lol
Can't imagine having all those tanks but I'm sure I'd ❤️ it.
Looks awesome and good luck with the move.

Just thought I'd hate a little journey on breeding aph. Australe Orange.

I will post pictures of the entire process, so that after you read through the whole thing you can breed them too!
Here is the male conditioning/breeding tank (during breeding the rock is replaced with 2 spawning mops)
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1426800684.877683.jpg
And this is the female conditioning tank
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1426800718.847089.jpg
All the fish are fed brine shrimp, MW, and omega one flakes for one week.
Then they are put into the breeding tank for three days. (Some people keep there breeding in a breeding tank for a week upwards. I find that the male will bully the females if kept in for a week) Each day I collect the eggs from the spawning mops and put them in moist peat for three weeks.
Pictures of the incubation process and raising fry will come.

At the auction you can get stuff for prices so low you feel bad for the seller

FR runs on a large eco pump, but I'm changing it to a linear pump soon
tanks use sponge filters, box filters, and power filters
lighting is low-medium (pics of this will come)
stand uses DADO joints, built by my mom (wood is not pressure treated)

I may have missed a grow out tank (let me know if something looks wrong)

If anyone has questions, comments, concerns let me here them!!
specifically stocking advise for new tanks

I will warn you though, when pics do come don't yell about the wiring, its messy but no shorts so far(y)

hope you've enjoyed this thread I wait your comments/advise!

Do you own an LFS? Or is this for pleasure? If you have an LFS id love to talk with you. My buddy whose into salt and myself (freshwater) are thinking of opening an LFS, but trying to nail down cost is super difficult!

If you were 40 with a fish room in your parents garage..... hehe... mom!!! The meatloaf!!!!!

Just noticed I haven't posted pics of the fishroom mascots
It's a pair of apistogramma macmasteri (always spell it wrong)
These were my first dwarf cichlids. And one of the fish that started this FR
