Tip for quieting/dampening sub pump

I took a breeder's net and lined the sides with a thin layer of filter floss, and placed open celled foam on the bottom. I put my submersible pump (RIO) inside, then stuffed open celled foam between it and the floss. Pump is much quieter now, whereas I heard it vibrate with eggcrate, sponges, mount on rubber washers, etc. >36 hours later and no issues. Can take pics if anyone wants. HTH
