I was recently given a 150 gallon tank from my nephew.
The silicone along the corners is a little chewed up from some overzealous algae scraping.
The tank does not leak. I am debating weather to remove all the silicone and reseal it or just leave it as is.
if I go the resealing route do I need to remove all the silicone up the sides and all along the bottom or can I just do the corners?
I would greatly appreciate some experienced opinions.

if you’re already thinking about resealing the corners you need to go ahead and cut all of it out (new silicone doesn’t bond as well to old silicone) and reseal it with new silicone
